The Project

Melie’s is a magical place that invites you to live the magic of cinema. A unique store where you can find merchandising of classic movies and series. Located in an exceptional place in the city of Mendoza, it offers a different shopping experience, appealing to the nostalgia and emotionality of cinema.

With the charm of a candy store, the magic of cinema, and the love for small details, we conceived Melie’s as the secret (not so secret) station for movie lovers.

Sticky Facts

To create this identity, we immersed ourselves in the history of cinema, taking as our main reference Georges Méliès, French filmmaker, illusionist and mechanic recognized as the father of cinematography, who created special effects in cinema and revolutionized the storytelling in his first film, Voyage dans la Lune in 1902. For the choice of color palette, typography & textures we were inspired by Wes Anderson’s aesthetics in the movie Grand Budapest Hotel (We are FANS).
